Is it okay to eat a little over 500 Calories on the HCG diet and STILL lose weight?

the hcg diet preferably states to eat 500 and 10 drops 3 times a day. i think i eat about 700 idk but will i still lose weight and is it ok?

If you eat less than 1,000 cal. per day (if your weight is over 100 lbs) if you are teenager and still growing – then DIETS are not recommended! However, I hear that young men like the thin & gaunt – a good wind will drop em like a tree look! Then you can lose weight. Don’t be surprised when you everyone around is fine and your feeling mighty cold!

    well, ur body will go into starvation mode, and wont burn calories. so ur better off eating around 1500 calories, because you will burn them the whole day.

    First off, read this: http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/07/hcg-diet-look-elsewhere-for-weight-loss/ Don’t use that stuff, who knows what it will do to you.
    Secondly, I don’t care how small you are, eat at least 1,000 calories per day or your body will perpetually be in starvation mode and you will likely binge. Losing weight fast is not recommended. Most figures I’ve seen on the subject suggest that for women, losing any more than 1lb per week is unhealthy, and 2lb for men. So don’t crash diet, it’s not good for you, and chances are you’ll gain it back fairly quickly.
